Vader's TIE Fighter is armed with heavy twin blaster cannons on fixed mounts, with a hull made of duralloy steel and unique solar cell wings. The TIE Fighter has proved itself in battle, as it is capable of withstanding many direct hits. In addition the pilots' chances of survival were considerably enhanced by the incorporation of a hyperdrive system, which enables the ship to escape from hopeless battle situations. Quite misleading. The description stated the product was 7.5 inches long. It was taking about the box it was shipped in not the actual model. The model was only 2.7 inches in length. Very small.

I paid close to 18.00 for this miniature tie fighter...I thought it will be bigger and more detailed and i was highly disappointed with what i got :(

This model has several tiny parts. Most parts snapped together. I had to use model cement in a few places. Because I used a utility knife and model cement, I would recommend this only for older kids,8 and over. I put this model together along with the xwing fighter and the Millenium falcon for my 5 y/o. Completed model is about 3 inches by 3 inches.
