I have bought several of these Magic Kitten books for my youngest granddaughter. She loves cats and enjoys these books. There is a magic element in each story as well as some excitment and a dab of danger. She has gone from a good reader to a great reader this year and I credit these little books to launching her enjoyment of reading. She is now nine and reads two to three books a week, many far more advanced than these, but these stories hooked her interest and got her started.
