A moving song of love lost but still cherished in memories,

Stardust is a great song. There are many excellent versions but Louis Armstrong's version somehow captures the sadness of the tune better than any other I know. I find it so incredibly moving: the trumpet is so tremendous I just close my eyes and drink it in. In Ken Burn's Jazz Documentary, this song and "West End Blues" (also on the Ken Burns Compilation) get a lot of hype and they absolutely deserve it in my opinion!
