The Galactic Heroes line of Star Wars toys is wonderfully durable and fun, and the re-issued Millennium Falcon is no exception. The plastic is tough and takes handling well, though I do sometimes worry that the satellite dish will break off (and how would Chewbacca watch the All Wookie Channel then?). The figures are sturdy and their oversized features make them easy for pudgy hands to grasp. The interior of the Falcon is not very elaborate, but the liftable top makes stashing Han and his pals inside it easy. It would be nice if the set came with a Stormtrooper -- the first series Galactic Heroes Falcon did -- but if your kid or collector likes Star Wars, this will still be a fun addition to the toys.

My son is 2 years old and he absolutely loves this toy. I have the earlier version, the one that includes the Stormtrooper (which, incidentally, is his favorite figure). The Millenium Falcon's moving parts (lid, ramp, guns, and dish) easily snap back on if unattached. My son regularly "crashes" the ship into the carpet from high up and it still hasn't broken. It has a variety of buttons that play actual sounds from the movies. This is a great set to get your young kids hooked on Star Wars from an early age.

We bought this toy for my son when he turned 2 last year and this has become, by far, one of his favorites. It is durable beyond belief! I was skeptical at first after I saw the hatches and the dish but my fears disappeared after finding that no matter how many times he pops them off, they snap right back on with ease! Also, he has dropped it over and over and over again and this toy comes out of it without so much as a scratch or crack in it! Needless to say, both my son and I are totally satisfied!!

This is a great toy, very rugged with a fantastic look both inside and out. The interior playspace really makes the toy much more enjoyable. The chunky styling sacrifices no details - it is as visually interesting as the toys for older children, but sized and styled for a little one's hands and eyes.

Great stuff, highly recommended. Hopefully they will re-issue the cute X-wing fighter from this line - and make more vehicles.

Bottom line: a high quality toy with enough charm, innocence and the magic of the original concept to make even a jaded 30-something Dad remember what he once liked about Star Wars (before the emphasis shifted more towards George Lucas and his uber-rich man's whims than what a kid in the audience might think or want).

Just an update - 4 months later and its STILL among my boy's favorite toys. Hardly a day goes by that it doesn't get played with. Fantastic.

This is PERFECT for the 3-8yrs. age group. I bought this for my son's 5th Birthday and is a BIG deal going from Thomas the train to a Big boy toy. even though they are little chubby figures, he loves them just the same. The sounds are cool and c3 po's noises. all in all very durable and much worth it! This product is getting more and more difficult to find so if you find one, SNATCH IT! Very HOT ITEM! You will not be sorry and kids LOVE it!

Being a Star Wars Fan from growing up watching the Original Trilogy I wanted to pass on the joy of Star Wars to my 2 year old son, which in turn has become quite a fan himself (after watching my Trilogy Collection on DVD)! I felt the 3.75" action figures would be too fragile and full of small parts (pistols, lightsabers, gadgets) for such a small child. Enter Star Wars Galactic Heroes. These little figures are great. But the truly amazing thing is the likeness the Millennium Falcon has to the OTC spaceship. It's full of wonderful things to do: realistic sounds from the movie (engine going to lightspeed, laser cannons and character sound bite: C3PO, R2D2 and Chewbacca) moving cannons; rotating radar, opening cockpit to place Han Solo into, and more. The educational value from my point of view is how it trains a two or three year old child's fine motor skills; They have to open the back of the Falcon and press a button to fix it's hyperdrive and they have to manipulate all the moving parts. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults as well. We spend hours recreating scenes from the movies and he loves it.

The movable pieces come loose when its dropped from great heights which prevents them from breaking. We liked this so much, we bought 3 for friend's children, and another one for ourselves. Mom and Dad like it as much as the kids. The sounds are fantastic. The only down side is the hatch and satellite dish come off sometimes, but we've always been able to put them back on. We've has ours for 3 years now and it's still going strong. Our kids have been Star Wars fans since they were little and this toy has been, and still is, a favorite. They're 6 and 9 now, and still enjoying the Millenium Falcon.

My son received this as a birthday gift and it is a great toy!! My son just turned 8 and he loves it. It has lots of awesome sound effects and great for the imagination even for an 8 year old yet still fun and safe for his 2 year old sister. My husband even enjoys playing with the kids with it. An overall well made cute toy.

After getting the Millenium Falcon for her 8 yr old cousin, I saw that this was the favorite toy among the kids at the party. The one I got had 4 feet to the Falcon (I guess a spare) and putting on all the stickers was definetly an adult job. This is an absolutely great gift for kids (boys or girls). Very durable and oh so cute.

I wish Hasbro would put out a Galactic Heroes Speeder Bike and Jungle Leia with Ewok (that would be soooo cute and to have a girl with a vehicle) and they also need a TIE Fighter with a Darth Vader! I am looking for an excuse to get the Falxon and X-Wing for my daughter, because mommy already has a big falcon and can't justify getting another!

My 4 yr old daught loves Queen Amidala and kept asking for another one (I found 2 "skipper" sized golls on clearance). She LOVES Princess Leia and her husband Han Solo. She carries then everywhere and has them to parties with the Happy Family Barbie todlers. Now if I can oly find the Padme & Anakin set, she will be in heaven! I hope they come out with more girl jedi's in their two packs. Even though mommy loves Darth Vader, she can't get into the concept of liking a scary bad guy. I guess I'll keep those for when she's older.

With most action figures, not much in the way of educational value but she role plays with these two all the time. A+ to Hasbro and Star Wars for coming out with cute kid friendly action figures!

If you are a fun there is nothing better than these cute toys... fit just right in little hands. Great pretend structure.
