I own every General title, from the original Panzer General to Panzer General III, from Star General to Fantasy General. I'm a fan of the game engine, but what really made these other games a blast were the campaigns that accompanied them. Star General does not include a campaign mode. I own every General title, from the original Panzer General to Panzer General III, from Star General to Fantasy General. I'm a fan of the game engine, but what really made these other games a blast were the campaigns that accompanied them. Star General does not include a campaign mode. So, while the game engine itself is still a blast to play, this game dries up in a hurry without being able to run my army through the rigors of war, absorbing casualties and building strengths. This game is the weakest attempt in what I view to be a great, but aging, game idea.
