I loved this book. I've bought a number of copies as the year it came out was the year of the weddings for my husband and I. We attended many types, one in Antigua Guatemala over New Years, one covered by the New York Times (a feature story wedding)in Yonkers,another in Jackson Hole Wyoming earlier Berkley..to say nothing of those back in Chicago. It's still wedding central in our lives This month we've had a wedding Next month we have two weddings one in Chicago (a big Indian wedding) and one in Denver. This little book is absolutely packed with delicious wonderful tidbits, which, because I was born Sagittarius and am but of course traveling, I can't quote off hand here writing from the Sandia mountains in Albuquerque with my last copy at home in my study.

Even though I've read it, I can't give it away. Always buy another copy if I want to share. I give it to friends that are divorced!when they are dating again!

When I titled this review, not just for planning a wedding..its because
my husband and I are a Leo wedding. The description (and it ran for pages and pages) was spot on and we've celebrated many happy anniversaries. It's very fun to read about couples you already know. It would make a great anniversary gift and who knows maybe it will encourage re-commitment ceremonies for continuing on to Living Happily Ever After.

This book should be on a Kindle!

You don't have to know astrology to appreciate this fantastic little read. So well written.

I've been an avid reader of April's articles on mooncircles.com and when I saw this book I thought it would be a fun diversion - what I didn't expect was how all the specific and in-depth information packed into this little wonder! It's a great read, and I had so much fun looking up the wedding dates of friends and family and seeing how accurate the descriptions were. I'll definitely consult this book before picking my own date!

Like anyone who's studied astrology in any depth, I'm a little wary of sun sign astrology. But April Elliot Kent's "Star Guides to Weddings" has made a believer out of me. This charming book is packed with so much insight into the effects each sun sign has on a marriage, you'll laugh in recognition as you read.

In fact, I'm going to give a copy to my future daughter-in-law as a shower gift.
