Great addition to Munchkin
Trust me all Steve Jackson games are gold. The other review here is by some who apparently didn't understand the first thing of what he was buying.

Funny, but not playable.
I bought Star Munchkin RPG as a good introductory RPG for my kids. However it is missing too much content to be playable. When I raised this issue on the Steve Jackson Games web forum, I was told that this product was intended as a satire of d20 games, and not as a playable game. I have since managed to run a few games using the Star Wars RPG Core Rulebook...

I bought Star Munchkin RPG as a good introductory RPG for my kids. However it is missing too much content to be playable. When I raised this issue on the Steve Jackson Games web forum, I was told that this product was intended as a satire of d20 games, and not as a playable game.
I have since managed to run a few games using the Star Wars RPG Core Rulebook to "fill in the gaps." The text is very funny, and so if you are looking for a good satire of d20 space games, this is for you. But if you want to actually play an RPG, buy this along with the Star Wars core rulebook, or look elsewhere. |
