Just as the person below says. You'd think there might be some sort of proof-listening or something for such a release. It's pretty clear not much effort was put into this disc. Come on, are the titles of the songs really that difficult? Aside from that, the interview is very dry and long. Don't buy it.

I'd didn't know that the Pumpkins changed the names of their songs! The narrator had a very strong accent, which was hard enough to pick the words from, but "Butterfly with Bullet" wings rang out loud and clear. This was OBVIOUSLY not a reasearched CD, you would only need to look at the back of their CD's to know the name of their first released song wasn't "I am the One"...But "I am One" The only reason that this gets any strsm if becaue of the interviews.

All this CD is is an interview. It has a 100 page booklet that tells all about the band. It tells everything from how Darcy met Billy to the fact that The Smashing Pumpkins are fans of the x-files. The interview CD is about 50 minutes long. It has interviews with The Smashing Pumpkins and some other people(Like there Producer). Unlike some other books or interview CDs from other bands, this isn't focused around only the lead singer, Billy. It has equal info for evryone, except there drummer, Jimmy. It tells only a few page about him and everyone else gets very many pages. There are some bad things about this CD though. The narrorator makes stupid comments, like saying,"The Smashing Pumpkins hit single, 'Butterfly with Bullet Wings". And calling "I Am THE One" instead of "I Am One". Also this CD is only 1 track and it lasts 50 minutes. So you have to listen to it all in one sitting. If you stop, you have to fast foward to get back to where you are. But other than that, this is a good CD for any fans of the band. One of the best thing that this tells is how Darcy met Billy. It's a funny story and it isn't how you'd expect these two to meet. It tells how Billy likes basket ball and how Darcy has many pets. This is a pretty good CD and I would recommend it to a Smashing Pumpkins fan. But with these mistakes, I can't give it any better than 3 stars.

This cd will be realeased in october 1999 but some of the new songs which will be on it are already played in the Arising tour in usa. And It was GREAT !!! The pumpkins are 4 again ; Jimmy chamberlain is BACK and you heard that on the new song ! Dross, virex, wound, stand inside your love ... are excellents !! This isa return to ROCK like billy said the pumpkins are return in the past before Gish the first album(1991). The return of the SMASHING pumpkins !! Merci les pumpkins ! (i' m french :-)

Billy, James, Jimmy, and D'arcy...all back together again...(can you believe?) one big happy family...the arising is so kickass...just wait and see... i love the smashing pumpkins................a hell of a lot
