The Star Pupil -- Sky High Review,
This review is from: The Star Pupil: A Dot's Quest to Find His Place in the World (Hardcover)
"The Star Pupil" is a wonderful little story -- timeless and ageless. Everyone everywhere will relate to this beautifully woven tale about finding one's path - navigating life's twists and turns. "The Star Pupil," with it's very simple illustrations and very strong message stands head and shoulders above any other story of its kind -- and will be a wonderful reading experience for anyone -- young or old -- embarking on a journey of the soul. Take a few minutes with Carole Hamburger's book...and you very well may find that it helps you connect a few of the dots in your own life. Truly a gem of a story.....

Well, what can I say! i just read "The Star Pupil" at the behest of my 6 year old grandson who insisted that I would like the book.Yes, I agreed to read it (in order to discuss the story with him)not realizing that this is a book for Adults(as well).
After reading the "The Star Pupil" It was apparent that the genius in its characters is actually a blueprint for making choices and that all choices lead to the inevitably correct conclusion. You as a reader will agree that this book is brilliant, captivating and most importantly, a keen lesson for living life. Recommended for children from 2 to 92...5 star Do not leave this world without reading "The Star Pupil"

Not a children's book,
This review is from: The Star Pupil: A Dot's Quest to Find His Place in the World (Hardcover)
My children didn't really understand the message of the book. The pictures looked like I did it and the story is far too wordy for a child to read. Not sure who the target audience is supposed to be.

This is a charming story with a noble and supportive message. The pictures are simple and joyous. I would recommend it as a shower gift, for small children, and especially as a graduation gift for young adults trying to find their "place in the world."
