impressive computer-style space game,
By Sounds : Adequate, considering the basic audio capabilities of the 2600. (3 out of 5) Control : Great. You MUST have the Video Touch Pad (or the Keyboard Controller or the Kid's Controller) plugged into the 2nd joystick port in order to play this game. You move your ship and fire with the joystick (it's plugged into controller port 1) and you access the ship's computer with the Video Touch Pad (if you have a Video Touch Pad but do not have the Star Raiders overlay, it can be downloaded from the internet and printed to its exact size so you can have your own overlay. (4 out of 5) Gameplay : Awesome! (5 out of 5) Overall : One of the best games for the Atari 2600! (4 out of 5) |
