"Star of The Sea" by Kai Altair is in many ways a magnificent work. By combining personal stories with ancient-sounding melodies and modern beats, she creates a magical atmosphere. Her gypsy ways are extremely convincing, and drags the listener into a fantasy world, where fairies live openly among us, the full moon is always up and the mood is never down. All of this, combined with a breathtaking voice and catchy tunes make Altair the perfect Star of the Sea, land and skies.

Kai's songs transport you to another time and place.. Each song is so vivid, a mini-story unto themselves. From the calling of the goddess in "Here She Comes" to running with wolves in "Howl" to the feeling of being in a island paradise in "Sail Away", each song invokes images and feelings. Give her a try, I promise you'll soon be under her spell.

I love Kai's Star of the Sea. She has a beautiful voice that transends you to the stars!

After listening to Kai on youtube I decided it was time to get the cd. I had to wait ages for it because I was ordering from America but it was well worth the wait. Two months after reciving it I am still listening to it. If you mix old style magic,the power and importance of the earth and environment with a sprinkle of love and romance the end result would be this cd.
It is an ideal gift for anyone who likes something new and different and has felt that there is something more out there.

Sounding like the waves and the leaves rustling in trees Kai conjures up images of faerie tales and of love. The composition along with her voice is sheer perfection.

This EP is most definetly one of my favourite CDs of all time, every single song in this EP fits together and creates perfect listening experience.
This is totally worth every penny, I recommend you to purchase this!
