Star Wars Starfighter Vehicle Tri-Droid Fighter

This vehicle is pretty cool - it has firing missles and "buzz droids" that can come out of a compartment in the center sphere. For space battles, this is good stuff.

That said, figures don't go in this one. I suppose you could shove a guy into that center sphere, but there's no actual "seat" for a guy. (In all fairness, people didn't ride in them in the movie, either.)

The "buzz droids" that come out of the center compartment are kind of small and pretty easy to lose. There are two "open" droids that can attach to the Obi-Wan or Anakin Jedi Starfighter and there are three "closed" ones that are basically small plastic marbles. They roll about as well as marbles, too, so if you cut 'em loose they roll pretty easily under the couch, under the refrigerator... pretty much anywhere that you'll either never find them again or generally be unable to reach.

That said, it's still a lot of fun. Just don't lose your buzz droids and you'll have a great time. I'm glad I picked it up.

The Star Wars -- Revenge of the Sith "Droid Tri-fighter" is a wonderful "sprint-though-the-backyard" spaceship -- it's highly detailed and has many cool features like shooting missiles and buzz droids that swirl around inside a spherical compartment. I was also quite impressed with the decals, which give the ship a very proto-Imperial look.

There are two types of buzz droids (opened & closed) that make really cool sounds when twirled inside the sphere -- imagine a mini-lotto ball effect -- try this in midflight and note your reaction. Ideally, it would've been nice if the ship made electronic noises similar to the sounds it made in Revenge of the Sith.

Is there an electronic version over the horizon?

**WARNING** This spaceship can poke a young child's eye out. The Droid Tri-fighter has a pointy tapering spire made of rubbery plastic that sticks out from the nose of the craft. This piece of rubber could be dangerous if poked or rammed near a child's eye socket or ear. Overall the toy is as safe as many space toys, but not as dangerous as those Battlestar Galactica ships (that fired little red missiles) from the late 1970's. Just keep an eye on that 7 year-old playing around your newborn (or cat) with this thing.

This toy is very durable and fun to play with.The only problem i had was my ship didnt come with missles. Me and my brother searched in the box, in the bag and on the floor but they were no were to be found.They did not pack them in the box, but other then that this is a great buy i love the little buzz droids that come with it. I also like the little ball thing in the middle of the ship where you store the buzz droids to make sure u dont lose them. I went to toys r us the first day the revenge of the sith line of toys was out (im kinda a star wars geek i got there at like 9:30 in the morning and waited we were first people there) and there was only one of these babys! so buy them before they all dissapear! u should get the arc 170 fighter with this ship

The Star Wars Droid Tri-Fighter is one of the most exciting vehicle out of the line. The many buzz droids, and bombs and missiles, you still can't get enough. The Tri-Fighter is not meant to have a figure in the cockpit where the buzz droids are supposed to be, but you can use other separatist figures. There is tons of stickers to attach to the ship, but that is still good-- is it not?

Star Wars Droid Tri-Fighter, is the most amazing vehicle in my collection, and if you trust my review, it will be in your collection, too.So where do I begin, Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith is the most popular movie in the 6 soon to be 12 movie saga. People beg for items like these. The Droid Tri-Fighter is used to iliminate the Republic Ships.

The Driod Tri-Fighter is amazing and I love it. "It makes a fine addition to my collection!" As greivous says " THEY will make a fine addition to my collection."

This ship is awsome! it has 3 firing missles, one on each wing. on the bottom of the ship there to removable bombs they kinda look like nukes. In the middle of the ship there is a rotating sphere where you put the buzz droids that come with the ship(2 open & 3 closed droids) I have been able to put two of my figrues inside, the ROTS #3 yoda & the ROTS #8 General Grievous. Over all the ship is pretty cool & durable, buy one before they sell out!!

A sepratist Tri-Fighter, no name gives more fear to Republic Soldiers and Pilots. Fast, deadly, loaded with bombs and buzz droids. If your a pilot in a slow Republic Gunship, Beware the Tri-Fighter.

My son LOVED this ship, which he added to his collection. We had no idea this was even out on the market until we came across it on Amazon/Toys R Us! It is unique, sturdy and full of nooks and crannies for him to store his battle droids. Not to mention that we ordered it on Saturday and it was at our front door by Monday! Thanks for excellent service!

My kids, 7 and 5, are obsessed with Star Wars right now, and this is the perfect toy for them to make believe with, sturdy, and I don't have to worry about it falling apart with the "Lego" Star Wars series. Great toy!

it's fun but needs to come with droods and it is educational enough for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
