5.0 out of 5 stars entertaining, January 22, 2007
By
This review is from: The Star Tablet (Jack Stein, Psychic Investigat) (Paperback)
An entertaining book, written to keep the reader engaged throughout. It is not a stand alone book though. I haven't found the other books yet, but there seems to be a book that goes before, and it needs a book after as well, as there are several loose ends left dangling at the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars He just didn't get it, January 12, 2006
This review is from: The Star Tablet (Jack Stein, Psychic Investigat) (Paperback)
This book is really about growth and discovery. The mix of mystery and sci-fi really works and knowing how Jack's mind works with his relationship to Billie really matures the series. Can't wait for the final book in the series. The previous reviewer has no clue and provides nothing useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretentious, January 4, 2006

This is so bad it's almost good. They sell it like it's Raymond
Chandler in space - but it's more like Raymond Chandler partially wrote a suicide note, got even more depressed, went for a walk, and then - in his absence - Ray's cat jumped up and down on the typewriter and completed it. Jeez.
