I remember setting up on Friday nights as a child watching Captain Kirk and the starship Enterprise setting course for action and adventure. Some of the gadgets they had were out of this world - at the time. But who didn't want one of them for their very own? I purchased this for my collection to go along with the communicators, tricorders, books, uniforms, and models now filling a room in my house. While not a PERFECT replica, it is very good for display and use on Halloween with a costume.
