2.0 out of 5 stars Very little for the price., January 17, 2009

I purchased this for my husband and he was looking forward to flying it all week. Upon actually taking it out into a grassy field, he was finally able to try it. This was a lot of fun until about the third landing. Then the flimsy Styrofoam body began to break down. Once this started, he couldn't control it, and the landings did progressively more damage. For the price, I would expect to have more than one play-session out of the toy. I understand it is basically a foam glider, but we expected it to last longer than a day. My poor geeky husband was very disappointed.

I was skeptical that this design could actually fly well, but it does, unlike the Bird of Prey. It is a bit delicate when compared to other toy RC planes made of EPP, but it's not too bad, especially if you land in the grass. Don't try to fly in anything more than a light breeze, and keep the antenna hanging down for best range.

This is not a four hundred dollare r/c plane. fly inside for Christ sake, no wind and you can buzz loved ones till they are swearing to kill you. as for me, MOM is gonna love me to DEATH but keep it inside guys come on! YOu are lucky the damn thing flies at all I'm sure Rodenburry didn't have it in mind when he designed it. Do something dumb and you'll have it for 10 minutes, dont'and the ceiling is the limit. Just don't crack mom in the head, that is assured DEATH by Enterprise ENEMA.
