Star Trek has a new captain at the helm, Neil Norman & the Cosmic Orchestra takes us where "no men have gone before", pure fun and entertainment. On the "Starship Crescendo", Captain Norman has captured the thrill and adventure of this long running series which has grown into a "cult phenomenon" all over the world. There is no one on this planet that could bring this exciting music to the fans with such exuberance and forthright purity in sound.

Highlights on this "musical voyage" - FANFARE/CLASSIC STAR TREK THEME - NEXT GENERATION - DEEP SPACE NINE - VOYAGER - KLINGONS - FIRST CONTACT. The best for last, a real stand out - VENA'S DANCE with an awesome arrangement by Captain Neil Norman.

On the agenda a note, to invite passengers - A. Courage, J. Goldsmith, D. Mc Carthy and G. Fried to come back again and again to the "Crescendo", for another blast into this vast galaxy of ours.

This is an awesome CD. Though You can get the star trek encounters track on Neil Norman's Greatest Sci Fi Hits Volume IV, I'm not sure if that was available when this was released. If you can get this cheap, pick it up. Neil Norman's encounters suite is awesome, and its nothing like Meco's star trek: the motion picture disc.

The music on this CD is a lame imitation of Meco Monardo's fabulous disco-style sci-fi music. What is even worse is the fact that this entire disk consists of only nine minutes of music! Even a 3-inch CD can hold more than that, but this is a full-sized disk.
