4.0 out of 5 stars Finally ... visit Ferenginar!, September 1, 2000

This review is from: Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Episode 69: Family Business [VHS] (VHS Tape)
FAMILY BUSINESS is a wonderful tale of sibling rivalry coupled with an exploration of Ferengi culture on the homeworld. When Quark's mother (played wonderfully by SCTV's Andrea Martin) is charged with violating Ferengi law by making a profit, Quark is forced to face a homeworld and a family truth that he's avoided for 20 years. An outstanding performance by Max Grodenchik (sp?) as Rom, in particular, makes this a standout episode where family is explored with the backdrop of the truest sense of capitalism ... if there ever was one!
