This action figure is an excellent likeness of actress Marina Sirtis as 'Star Trek: The Next Generation"'s half-human, half-empathic Betazoid counselor, Deanna Troi. Her casual uniform, as depicted on this figure, can be seen through the middle years of "The Next Generation"'s seven-year run (1987-1994).

Its accessories are a phaser, a laptop computer, a medical laptop, and a figure stand. All in all, I highly recommend this figure as a welcome addition to any Star Trek collector's treasure trove or to any action figure collector who expects high production quality in return for his/her investment.

P.S. As a side note, there is a variant of this figure also available, as Deanna Troi is featured in her blue uniform from the final year of the program.

I gave this toy as a gift to two psychologists whom I knew were science-fiction fans. You might be surprised how many scientists, including behavioral scientists and mental health professionals were inspired by science-fiction and shows like Star Trek. This toy is symbolic, in a way, of Star Trek's contribtion to moving beyond the time when mental health was not discussed openly a lot and there was a lot of stigma attached to seeing a counselor or a psychologists. The quality of the toy is good, and it comes with a bunch of little artifacts inside, like a toy tablet, phaser, and the like.
