Star Trek Technical Manual, November 6, 2010
This review is from: Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Journal (Paperback)
Printed in 1992. 82 pages. Presented by Starlog. Chapters include 1: Introduction, 2: UFP, 3: Starfleet, 4: Enterprise Layout, 5: Starfleet Uniforms, 6: Medical, 7: Personal Equipment, 8:Galaxy Class Starships, 9: Defensive Arms, 10: Principal Cultures.
This is similar, but not as bountiful in information, as the older 1970's TOS Technical Manual. But if you are a fan of the NextGen series, there is good information and a lot of photos in here.
Technical drawings includes things such as Picard's ready room, the Bridge, Ten Forward, etc. On up to the equipment used in the series. There are two foldouts. One with great photos of the shuttle pod, and various parts of the ships interior (sets). The second foldout shows side view diagrams of the Enterprise with call-outs.
The entire book /magazine includes quite a few ads throughout. Overall, I have not seen some of this information anywhere else. The color pictures are crisp, whether stills or shots from the series. The blueprints and diagrams are basic, but a welcome addition. If you are a fan, scale modeler, or artist, this book may interest you.
