I've seen these six movies so many times I know the scripts nearly as well as the actors. This is the definitive set for fans of the Original Series cast including Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty and the rest. If you're like me and you've nearly worn out your old videos these HiFi, Widescreen versions are the way to go. The highlights of the set are of course the even numbers: ST2-The Wrath of Kahn, ST4-The Voyage Home (the comedic crown of the set) and ST6-The Undiscovered Country (an action packed politically driven adventure that reminds us all why we like Star Trek so much). Falling a close second to the even Treks is ST3-The Search for Spock, Nimoy's much debated return to the crew. True Trekkie's (or the comtemporary Trekker's if you prefer) will not leave ST1-The Motion Picture or ST5-The Final Frontier unwatched but I'll bet they last a good deal longer than the other four. Great movies from a cast of people that can never be replaced or forgotten.

The Screen Voyages is aset consisting of Six great movies: STAR TREK-THE MOTION PICTURE: Kirk assumes command of the newly refitted Enterprise to stop a destructive cloud from destroying Earth. STAR TREK II-THE WRATH OF KHAN: When Khan commandeers the U.S.S. Reliant, Kirk takes command of his ship again. Kirk's son is introduced in this movie. This movie also introduces The Genesis Device, which continues to have an effect in the next two movies. Spock Dies in this episode. STAR TREK III- THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK: Kirk kidnaps the Enterprise from Starfleet and takes it to the Genesis Planet. He destroyes it,to prevent it from being controlled by the Klingons. Kirk and his friends then commandeer the Klingon ship and take it to Vulcan, where Spock is brought to life.STAR TREK IV-THE VOYAGE HOME: After being brought to life, Spock joins Kirk & friends to Journey back to Earth in the Klingon bird-of-prey, where they travel back to the 1980's to save Earth from a probe. STAR TREK V-THE FINAL FRONTIER: After taking Spock on a camping trip, Kirk is called back to the Enterprise-A where a renegade Vulcan hijacks the Enterprise and takes it to the Galactic Barrier. STAR TREK VI-THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY: Kirk and McCoy are accused for murdering the chancellor of the High Council.
