With some great pics of the actors/characters, three of the beautiful promotion posters displayed at the center, the main and supporting actors' birthdays listed along with listing international holidays this is a wall calender I am definitely looking forward to displaying/looking at all year in 2010! If you are a fan of Star Trek - especially of the 2009 film - then this is a must-have and I really don't think you'll regret buying it, I know I don't!

There was only one review for me to judge this newest Star Trek calendar by, so here you go folks with mine. First off, it hangs like a regular calendar (only one single hook required to hang it), you know, top down. This one does not hang left to right with two hooks needed to hang it on the wall (like the Star Trek Ships calendar).
For the different months this is what you get for the picture (on top with the calendar date squares under): January - James Kirk (Christopher Pine) February - Spock (Zachary Quinto) March - Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Karl Urban) April - Scotty (Simon Pegg) May - Chekov (Anton Yelchin) June - Uhura (Zoe Saldana) In the middle an promotion for the next movie: Star Trek - The Future Begins (I can't wait for this one to come out) July - Nero (Eric Bana) August - Spock (Leonard Nimoy) September - Captain Pike (Bruce Greenwood) October - Sulu (John Cho) November - Spock and Kirk on the Bridge of the Enterprise December - The USS Enterprise NCC 1701 in space, a cool front shot of it leaving Jupiter's rings Overall, I think it is a very good Star Trek calendar, it is based on the people in the movie, not on the ships like other Star Trek calendars. This calendar is about the movie Star Trek XI, and is very good one at that, with supporting pictures from the movie. The squares with the dates have the same background with a lightly muted side shot of Earth going through half the the botton part of the calendar and also on top, where there is no picture. Pretty cool, I might say, but they (the squares) all have the same background from month to month, just saying. You get the holidays and the actors/actress birthdays also there. Enjoy the 2010 year with the latest movie.

I have been a Star Trek fan since the TV show aired in 1966. I have enjoyed the classics and have seen them over and over as most of us probably have. When Star Trek went to the big screen, I have enjoyed them as well. This new Star Trek movie is excellent. I have to say it is exciting and fast paced. The new actors portray the classic charactors excellently. They make you feel that you are seeing them again just as they are graduating Starfleet. I give this movie a thumbs up and hope they make more.

I always try to get the latest movie callender for my computer room, and this was the must have for this year. Great pictures, great layout from a great movie. Why it was dissed at the People's Choice awards is beyond me. Twilight appeals to a niche market. This movie put Star Trek out for all, not just Trekkies. Maybe the People's Choice officials should sample a wider scale of the audience and not just snot nosed teenagers living with mom and dad.
