5.0 out of 5 stars the incredible shrinking Data
This action figure is so detailed, it looks like someone hit Brent Spiner with a shrinking ray. It is remarkable how much this looks like Data's character. The subtle wrinkles in his uniform, the veins in his handsand even the shape of his nose and nostrils is phenomenal.

His head turns left, right and bends up and down. The wrists and ankles turn, knees and elbows...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good figure, but Playmates figures were better
Unlike the Picard figure from the new movie, at least you can look at the face and tell who it's supposed to be.
These figures from this new company are decent, but could be better overall as far as articulation, appearance, and overall movement.

Decent, but I just can't figure out why Paramount didn't renew the contract with Playmates, who made outstanding line of...

Decent, but I just can't figure out why Paramount didn't renew the contract with Playmates, who made outstanding line of Star Trek toys over the years.

3.0 out of 5 stars A GENERATIONS FINAL MARKETING?, January 6, 2003

This is another good offering from Art Asylum, but, it doesn't quite reach the highs achieved with their ENTERPRISE line. The uniforms of these TNG figures are too 'puffy' and have bizarre wrinkle and seam lines which somehow makes their torsos look wierdly elongated and out of proportion. The faces lack the subtlely realistic tones of their ENTERPRISE counterparts, and their is a decided dearth of hand held accessories. All of this could probably be due to the fact that 'NEMESIS' is being billed as "a generations final journey" and Art Asylum, therefore, didn't see the need to go all out on a slate of characters that are going off the scene. However, I still recommend these figures as they will in no doubt increase in value as the years go by. Make it so!

His head turns left, right and bends up and down. The wrists and ankles turn, knees and elbows bend, and thighs and shoulders pivot in their sockets.

You can put him in any normal pose - mine is sitting on my monitor with no concerns that he'll topple over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks Great, September 29, 2006
This review is from: Data Star Trek Nemesis Action Figure (Toy)
This is a very detailed toy that is a must have for your collection. I am amazed that it looks so real. The small details on Data show real well and it's amazing how much it looks like him and his uniform. Since this is Data's last planned movie, it is a nice collectable to have.

When I saw this figure of Data I was pleased at how much it resembled the real actor on the show so I had to get it . It arrived on time and was just like the one I had seen and in great condition. Thanks.

The Star Treck Action figures are three times better than the ones Playmates made. Art Asylum has done an exellent job sculpting these toys I give them a 10 of 10 GREAT JOB!!!!!!
