Whether you are nostalgic to get your hands on your old childhood vintage trading cards again, or you're a Star Trek fan who wasn't around to have experienced these first-hand, this is the perfect way to see these beautiful vintage cards collected in this awesome 216 page hardcover book.Read more ›
Hoping the publisher Abrams does books for the following Topps cards; The Brady Bunch, 1975 or 1976 Marvel Stickers, as well as some of the Topps Test Issues like Land Of The Giants, Adam12/Emergency or Superman In The Jungle.
Still a fun thing to have.
I received the book today and requested a replacement. Shipping both ways is free. The replacement is already being prepared to be shipped out to arrive in 2 days, so Amazon does get bonus points for that.
9/26 replacement received. Packaging was the same type of padded envelope before but the book avoided being skewered this time.
In short, this book is a lot of fun to look at, and the cover is so nice you'll want to prominently display it on your shelf. The additional reflections from collectors and Topps designers are a welcome bonus!
Each of the books contain 4 bonus trading cards, exclusive to these editions, and given the continued popularity of the trading card series that inspired these books, those cards could become somewhat valuable themselves in future years (so take care of them!) making this bargain priced volume a very low risk investment.
I hope for more of these from Abrams and Topps. My vote is for a set of books in this format based on the original 1977 Star Wars card series.
