Deep Space Nine at its best,
By A Customer
This review is from: Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Episode 123: In the Cards [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In The Cards became an instant fan favorite and an example as to why Deep Space Nine was the last best hope for the Star Trek franchise. Jake and Nog engage a quest to find a vintage Willie Mays baseball card in an effort to lift Sisco's spirits. The ensuing adventure has the boys meeting a bizzare scientist trying to halt cellular decay and a face-to-face confrontation with Weyoun. This episode serves as a jumping-off point for the beginning of the Dominion war. Overall, a great Star Trek story that sees little rerun airtime and is a must for any fans video collection.

This is one of the Star Trek franchise's most humorous episode's ever made, and very touching to boot! You need know nothing about the Deep Space Nine storyline or even particularly like anything to do with Star Trek to enjoy this magnificent 'stand-alone' episode!
