"The Circle" is the 2nd episode of DS9's 2nd Season. It is also part 2 of a 3-part story. This is possibly one of the most important shows centering on Bajor. The plot takes many interesting twists and turns in this hour of tension and suspense. By the conclusion of the episode, the events here and in part 1 feel epic. You get the feeling that the characters are caught up in events they have no control over, but not once during this 3-parter do we lose touch with our characters. DS9's writers have always shown remarkable ability to throw in character moments even in the most complex of plots, and they don't falter here. Everything presented here feels natural and comes from outgrowths previous events. In a nutshell: this is a very good hour of complex plotting and good characters, worth a place in your collection.

"The Circle" is part 2 of a 3 part story involving Li Nalas, a Bajoran war-hero, and the political situation on Bajor. "The Circle" has an epic feel as events unfold and the characters are powerless to stop them. Tensions rise throughout the show and finally culminates to the nail-biting conclusion where...ah, I won't say. This story mostly involves the Circle, a group of Bajorian extremeists who are trying to overthrow Bajor's provisional government and expell all non-Bajorians. The politics are up to the series' high standards. Everyone (as is standard for this show) delivers wonderful performances. All in all, this is a stellar show.
