All DS9 episodes are great!
This was probably the best scifi series on TV ever. All the characters fit together like a glove. Even when the story lines weren't the best, everything held up perfectly and made for an interesting and enjoyable hour.

This review is from: Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Episode 35: Paradise [VHS] (VHS Tape)
PARADISE is a bit of a conundrum of an episode for DS9. Again, the Trek universe finds itself in the middle of a retread (themes in this episode where greatly explored in TOS and somewhat so on TNG in far greater depth), and the whole premise of living without technology does end up appearing rather Amish in the end. However, a strong performance from Avery Brooks, who makes a bold stand against the community's unflinching leader and risks his life, elevates this story to another level ... if Brooks hadn't done such an exceptional job, this episode probably wouldn't deserve more than just a passing glance.
