'The Trouble With Tribbles' is probably the best remembered episode of the original series, and for good reason. It's a classic comedic episode with one of the most inventive plots Star Trek has ever produced.

'Trials And Tribble-ations' pays a more than fitting tribute to the original series episode it was based on. It features near-flawless integration of some of the DS9 crew into the original series episode, and is also perhaps the funniest episode of DS9 I've seen.

The tribble included with the gift set is a nice addition, but I was expecting the tribble to purr when I squeezed it, not make that high-pitched Klingon-induced squealing. Maybe two tribbles would have been a better idea. One that purrs and one that squeals. Oh well.

If you're a Star Trek fan, this gift set is a must-own item.

This gift set was a surprise for Christmas from my wife. It's a classic Star Trek episode and it's fun to watch the classic episode back to back with the Deep Space Nine "resurrection". If you like Star Trek, you're sure to love this set.

The two tape set includes ST TOS Episode 42 "The Trouble With Tribbles" and ST DS9 Episode 103 "Trials and Tribble-ations" which includes a tribble... The two videos are both excellent. To watch the orignal version and then see how they improved it for DS9 and the way they seamlessly blended the two shows. A MUST for any and all STAR TREK fans.

I a pretty big fan of Star Trek think that this is one of the most valued of all DS9 episodes. You'll wan't to watch it over and over again. But one thing bothers me all klingons used to be are ugly people but now they've improved immensly.

"The Trouble With Tribbles": Easily the Original Series' funniest episode; seeing Kirk at his flustered best (the scene of the captain buried in tribbles is priceless) and one of the show's best action scenes (I still enjoy how the whole fight starts) are but two of its virtues.

"Trials and Tribble-ations": A show that gets better with repeated viewing. It's great fun to see all the effort that went into recreating the spirit of the original story. Highlights include Charlie Brill's return as Arne Darvin and Star Trek's first acknowledgment that Klingons just don't look like they used to. (Look closely and you'll also find a cameo by David Gerrold, author of "The Trouble With Tribbles".)

And the tribble makes the whole set worth the price.

A few years ago my sister pleasantly surprised me with this Tribble video set for a Christmas present and I absolutely loved it and was amazed at how The DS9 actors really looked like they belonged on the classic episode, I also liked the tribble that was included, though I wish it had the option of using a purring sound besides the high pitched noise tribbles make when they see or sense a Klingon and I would like to find a Tribble toy that also makes the nice purring sound besides the high pitched squeak!

I like the Videos and the tribble is AWESOME
