I just got this Kirk in Command chair with Tribbles offered only from Amazon and I just love it. Upon opening it I couldn't see the tribbles but found they are hidden behind Kirks chair in a little baggie. I opened these miniature tribbles and trembled with excitement! Mine were little brown tribbles not the tan ones shown in the photo in the item listing.

With the rare 6" Kirk in Green shirt now found anywhere else but with this item, I was overjoyed with this item. The chair also has Kirk Quotes when you press the chair buttons. Although the sayings don't relate to the Tribble episode was just a little disappointing but they were still great. I think they took the talking command chair from the regular Gold shirt Kirk and Command chair toy set and used it with this Tribble edition.

This toy is a must for Trekies. Yes, I said Trekies which is what Gene Roddenberry himself called Trek fans not Trekkers... just to set the record straight.

I bought this as a gift for my Trekkie hubby. Trouble with Tribbles is one of his favorite episodes of Star Trek, so this was just too perfect. The Tribbles are just pom poms, but we all have fun moving them around and placing them on Capt. Kirk (Kirk's arms move, so you can put the Tribbles under his arms to make him look like he has hairy arm pits if you are really juvenile).

The coolest thing about this toy, I mean collector's item, are all of the cool sounds it makes. My husband has it on his desk in our shared home office, and I am treated to a variety of noises from the Enterprise bridge at random times. Seriously, it's very funny. He gets a total kick out of it, the kids think it's a scream and so far the Tribbles haven't reproduced.

The little soft fuzzy tribbles really do make this set what it is - and is an oft-discussed piece with visitors who see it and remember the episode. We've only been able to get the chair to say one phrase - still looking for a 'demo' button to turn off. But other than that, this is a great little display item. Just keep it away from cats and babies - both of whom can choke if they swallow a tribble.

Abso-tively fantastic product!! The images on the site do not do it justice. You have to hold it in your hands. A must have for any /true/ Star Trek fan! :)

Okay, let's start off by saying what motivated me to purchase this particular item wasn't the Capt Kirk figure with green variant shirt or the tribbles. Even though the tribble are pretty cool. It was the chair! The chair is magnificent and really a work of art. The chair plays William Shatner's voice as well as sound fx from the original show. The buttons light up and you hear the old sounds from the show. You can hear the Enterprise firing phasers, warping out, miscellaneous computer sounds as well as William Shatner saying the famous "These are the voyages" lines sans music. The figure itself to me is just a figure made of plastic and the likeness of William Shatner is slim to none. The chair is the real star of this set! I'm using the chair to hold a MEGO Capt Kirk thus completing my USS Enterprise bridge diorama.

I bought this item as a gift for a friend. He is thoroughly enjoying it and having a lot of fun with all of the features!
