The release of this cool figure in a packaging that mirrors the original vintage item is almost like a present from Hasbro to loyal fans and collectors of Star Wars Toys.

Although the price is a bit steep for a 3-3/4" figure, this item most certainly must feature on the must-buy, must-have list of every Star Wars fans and avid collectors.

Releasing this item with a protective case makes for easy shipping which ensure that the item inside the protective case remains in a mint condition. This will no doubt please most collectors. Good move, Hasbro!

I cannot vouch for the durability of the item outright because mine is likely to be card and case-bound since I am a collector. But looking at this figure, one can easily tell that it will not just break apart even if handled by a 5-year old kid. The only problem if a kid is to play with it, is that the small blaster pistol might probably get lost in a few minutes.

For collectors, you may want to note that there is a variant in this figure. Whether this is intentional or not, I am not sure. But if you look carefully at the belt of this Scout Trooper, you will notice that some of it comes in a completely white-coloured scheme, almost like the colour for the main part of the figure's body. The variant will come with a slightly yellowish-brown colour in the belt while the body of the figure remains white.

once again i have the chance to review a perfect figure , from a almost perfect line, by bringing the vintage line hasbro has done something wonderfull, a chance to 0wn a really cool caracter made with intricate detail, again more than 12 articulation points, a really good paint job no over spillings of black over white parts, this is must have for people who are troops builders, and let me tell you somenting this is the time for that, it you take a closer look hasbro is making all the caracter who had somethig to do with action or army duty on the movie fully articulated , overall i recomend this guy to anyone,
and please someone help that trooper get that freaking ewok down from that speeder-bike.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Scout Trooper needed a new sculpt!, June 18, 2006

This review is from: Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Biker Scout Figure (Toy)
I bet alot of people have been waiting for a Super Articulated version of this figure. I'm surprised it took so long for Hasbro to make it. The old Power of the Jedi figure was way out of date. This is a pretty rare figure, I went to a store that had TONS of VTSC figures, but zero Biker Scouts. But other places have a few of them. I'd say that you should stock up on a few if you want them before they suddenly dissapear.

This figure has the normal VOTC/VTSC articulation. It includes a small scout blaster that fits in a holster on his leg. That's all. It could have come with a sniper rifle or something, but I bought this figure for it's articulation. Everything else about it is pretty much perfect for a scout trooper. The amount of accessorries is the only flaw.

it is ok, it looks just with a little more muscles when you compare with the other troopers, the hands fall down when you are changin positions, it is very detailed,I hope only that the details with the hands dont make I loose one of them

4.0 out of 5 stars Biker Scout, January 23, 2011
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Biker Scout Figure (Toy)
This Review is short because I have already written a review for the same toy (it was in a different packaging, though). This is a pretty simple toy that grants simple joy. There is excellent neck and joint movement. However, be aware that the rotate-joint on the forearm is prone to falling out. It is easily snapped back in, but is annoying at times and can decrease play value. There is only one accessory and that is a very small, easy to lose pistol. It fits snuggly in in a holster on the boot and also is held firmly in the hand. However, it is neither impressive nor cool. Because the gun's handle is so fat, the hand is open very wide and this prevents the scout trooper from holding other weapons such as lightsabers and rifles.

Pros:
Scout trooper
articulation
nifty holster

Cons:
One accessory
Easy to lose weapon
big hands

5.0 out of 5 stars SCout Trooper,or earlier known in the Clone Wars as "Elite Corps Clone Trooper", December 15, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Biker Scout Figure (Toy)
The specialized troopers in the 41st Elite Corps are deployed on the beach of Kashyyyk to battle droid forces invading from the water. Swarms of droids overrun the beach but the elite troopers hold them back, supporting their Republic leaders... until the Emperor orders the corps' commander to execute Order 66.This figure has great articulation.Absolutely the best!Repackaged in the "old card",it is still awesome.HEY,IF YOU LOVE THIS THEN...WHY NOT TRY THE elite corps clone trooper in the Saga Collection,Wave 9!It is also known as BARC Trooper,KAshyyyk Trooper, and scout trooper. It is kinda a "repaint",but BETTER!Ya,this waz when they were good guys!MAN THIS IS THE BEST,OK,TRUST ME,NO,NO,NO,DON'T ARGUE,JUST AGREE.OK?ok!
Awesome Clone Trooper figure comes with an exclusive hologram figure and makes a great addition to your collection!

WARNING - CHOKING HAZARD(the weapons and holo figure, only) - Not for childern under 3.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great figure deserves a better card., September 15, 2006
This review is from: Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Biker Scout Figure (Toy)
This is a great figure for the fans of the land-based Biker Scouts. The articulation is almost perfect with the exception that the figure doesn't actually fit on any of the speeder bikes Kenner/Hasbro has produced over the years without looking downright silly.

The card is another matter: It's very thin cardboard without the shine or feel of the original card, or even the cards from the previous "vintage" figures. Hasbro really dropped the ball when they decided to print the updated information on the back of the card as opposed to having it be an inserted sheet: I would have loved to have seen the back of the card look "classic" as well.

Overall, the figure will be most valuable to the people purchasing it for the proof of purchase. Once you get all of this round's vintage figures' proofs of purchase, you affix them to a special cerificate (found ONLY in the Vintage Luke as X-Wing Pilot figure) and mail it (with $ for shipping and handling) to get an exclusive Vintage-style George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise figure.

Buy it for the proof of purchase or the figure itself if you intend to open it. If you want to display it, however, put it up high where people won't notice the cut-rate card's stock.
