I bought this bag for my five year old to use at summer camp. It's a great looking bag for the money but having said that, it is not very durable. Within four days of mild usage, the front zip pocket was ripped beyond use. the rest of the bag has held up so far (one month later) so for the money we paid I guess it was worth it for one summer's use.

I looked all over for a backpack for my 8 year old son. This is a great, full sized backpack that can hold all his school supplies/lunch/etc. The only drawback is that its not the most durable of backpacks and, just from everyday use, already has some rips and tears around corners/seems. However, if you're buying this your not buying for it for its durability but for its design so be prepared to buy another one soon...
