Product Description

The AT-AP Republic Walker is scaled to accommodate 3 ¾â figures, and features firing rockets and poseable legs. A relative of the AT-PT, the All Terrain Attack Pod is a troop-supporting assault vehicle with two primary legs and a third carried beneath the fuselage for instances in which greater stability is required. The AT-AP is manned by a crew of three Clone Troopers; two troopers occupy the cabin while a third trooper operates the AT-APâs top-mounted projectile cannon. The AT-AP is additionally armed with a forward projectile cannon and a fuselage-mounted blaster cannon. The AT-AP was briefly shown among the Clone Trooper infantry in Revenge of the Sith during the Battle of Kashyyyk.

When I first saw it, it seemed like a collectible, something like a fully articulated Star wars version of mechwarrior. But it is just a toy for kids. It has only 2 moveable joints in the side legs and one moveable joing in the center leg. Instead of a door in the side that opens, you have the entire side opening.

It is definitely not a collector's object, but it has a collector's price. If it has a price higher than the one of a small and cheap Fisher Price house, it would be a real scam. It seems made for kids, not collectors.

This is a toy made for kids. Surprise, surprise. And it has a ridiculous price. Shocking. Now, anyone who cries about the prices they find here ought to remember that there are other venues to consider. It's not like you HAVE to pay $50 for a toy you can get locally for $25. Or maybe you're the type who doesn't want to interact with another human being and figure that's worth paying through the nose. If so, you're one of those people who give these scalpers the courage to do what they do, and other buyers thank you.

This is great for 3.75 inch figures, IMHO, in that it's not too massive (like the AT-AT) or too small (like the AT-RT). It's a good size, you can fit three figures on it and it's fun. 'Nuff said.

This is not a collector's item? Maybe so, maybe no. I'm a collector and as I said I own three of these, I'm just not the type who thinks he's going to move to Boca Raton on account of selling some a rare toy one day. Maybe I will, but maybe I'll get run over by a train tomorrow. Figure I might as well play with the stuff I paid good money for. Get this for your kids if you can find it for $20 or so. Or for yourself. Just don't think you're going to trade it in for a Jag in 2039 or something! SMH...
