4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty nice model for my desk.
I picked one of these up locally to assemble and have sit on my desk at work. I used to build model airplanes as a kid and got pretty good at it but haven't painted and glued a model in several decades.
As it was pre-painted and wouldn't require glue, I figured it would take only a day's lunch hour to assemble as it was only around 30 pieces.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice details, but pricey for small size
This is nicely detailed and pre-painted model. It's nice and sturdy, and the wings are posable. The painting is top-notch. I can't believe the snap-tite models these days come so nicely done. My only critique on this model is that it's quite small. The wingspan is only 8" wide. For $17+, I was expecting a larger, heftier model. The model was quite fun for my son and I to...

The model was quite fun for my son and I to build, and it is a good addition to his Star Wars collection. Compared to $38 for the lego version, this is more realistic, cheaper, and offers just as much educational value to follow the directions to construct.

First off to properly remove the parts from the plastic trees, I should have had a set of Xuron 410 Micro Shear Flush Cutters which would have saved me from having to use Krazy Glue KG92548R Instant Krazy Glue All Purpose Brush 0.18-Ounce to fix a couple of parts I broke fairly easily using a knife to remove the parts. I broke one half of the main fuselage clean in half on day one this way. The crazy glue is handy with the built-in brush and dries fast and came in handy for several things on this model.
Although several of the parts of this model lock into place when assembled, there can be some significant gaps when not glued. I ended up gluing several parts even when not required just to remove the gaps.
Take careful note of part numbers as 2 parts that look identical may not be and are not interchangeable. I discovered this with the rear upper and lower gun turrents near the end of the assembly and had to make some modifications to correct my goof.
Overall, I am very pleased with how the model turned out and have received some complements on it already.
It does not come with a stand unfortunately.
Keep in mind this is a model, not a toy. It is not rugged enough for most children and I believe most children would not be able to assemble this without significant help.
Wingspan is about a foot.
There is, I believe, a smaller, cheaper and NOT as nice model of this ship: Revell ARC170 Fighter so don't confuse the two as this one is larger and more detailed.
I really like this aircraft. It appears to be a cross between Cutter's Goose In Tales of the Gold Monkey: Complete Series and the original X-Wing fighter of Star Wars. Very Cool.

Siguiendo con el genero y creciendo mi colección de Star War e optado por esta pieza que son muy fáciles de armar y ofrecen una vistosidad a la hora de ser exhibida como modelo de colección.
