Star Wars ASSAULT ON HOTH Battle Pack

Hasbro takes the easy, sloppy way once again. The idea of battle packs is great--some "cannon fodder" figures for less money and hassle than picking up additional carded figures. That said, Hasbro knows collectors buy these more than the kids, so why not throw us a bone? What you have here are two basic snowtroopers, 1 "resculpted" snowtrooper w/ cannon, and the probot, all of which have previously been available as carded figures. The General Veers figure was included in the AT-AT package. The accessories are minimal, as is the articulation of the figures, and there just isn't much excitement around the product. What if...they included a new sculpt of a snowtrooper? A super-articulated General Veers? A super-articulated probot? Some "set pieces", like equipment boxes, snow banks, etc.? There is a lot they could do with these sets to make them attractive and highly collectible, but sadly, that isn't the case here.

My 4 year old grandson thinks is great. He is enjoying it very much. He is very particular about which Star War figures he picks, and this is what he chose.

This is a wonderful adition to a 6-13 year old who wishes to play, or a 20-35 year old colecter, I rate This 100 out of 100.

The durability is outstanding, the fun experienced when playing with is unheard of, and it is perfect for display, in fact, this set is cheaper than buying seperate.

I bought this set for my four-year old twin grand-nephews, who are deeply and seriously "into" Star Wars. They were so thrilled with it's quality and the choice of characters that an immediate battle for possession erupted over all 5 characters. I thought they had matured enough to share, but I was wrong. Next time I buy two sets.

I am the Star Wars Fanatic

This toy is truly amazing! You can imagine the Empire facing the Rebellion in a cool battle from Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back. Needless to say I like Snow Troopers and droids and agressive Generals, that is why I bought the toy. You can let the last Snow Trooper use the blaster turret in battle. Now, I can finish this review in one very, very helpful piece. That Star Wars rules and so does the toys!

Being an avid Star Wars fan and avid collector for more than 25 years........thats right 25 years!, this is an excellent choice for the new and old fans alike, priced seperately this would cost around forty five bucks. The detail is amazing, plenty of accesories .one thing though...they didnt give the third snow-trooper a blaster weapon!, otherwise a great toy+collectible even though rough handling might not be a good idea. until next time-MAKE MINE STAR WARS!!!!!

its helps if the reveiwer before, and i use the term lightly-actually new the difference between collectible and toy. hasbro makes toys, not collectibles, so this pice, the Hoth Battle pack is an excellent toy, nice figures and some accessories-nice set. if you are a collector-then buy a prop replica or studio scale model-for 24.99 or whatver hew paid for this-what di dhe expect, Smithsonian quality? Look, if you like toys, buy this one-its a good buy for the oney and a nice set-if you are a collector-then buy a collectible-this isn't it.
