If for some reason you don't know that Revell is NOT a toy company, you do now. This is a plstic model and is meant as something to be built and displayed, not played with. It is only listed under the generic "Toys and Games" subject because that is where all models seem to be listed on amazon. THAT being said, it's a very good model, easily put together, and can be made to look just like one of the AT-ATs out of the movie with very little work. Though this is listed as a snap-together model, the wise modeller will glue the pieces on or they will, like all snap models, work themselves apart in time. The AMOUNT of time this takes to happen depends on how often you handle the object.
Overall, a pretty good kit, but, if you buy this thinking it is a toy, well........you won't do it twice, that's for sure.

For anyone that has never heard of Revell before, they are a 68 year old American company that makes MODELS and nothing else. A model is something you build and then put on display or make a diorama with it. If your kid is not into building models, then this is not for them. As far as snap together models go, it is above average. The instructions are decent, the parts have good details, and the parts are pre-painted. The finished product is very nice. I'd just like to reiterate that THIS IS NOT A TOY. The recommended age in the description is ages 8 and up. The educational value is in the building of it. I play star wars minis and rather than pay 130 for the walker from wizards of the coast, I bought three of these for a cheaper price saving 300bucks and downloaded the stat card. Best move I ever made the model is awesome for table to gaming but I can see how a kid could make short work of this awesome MODEL.

i was very surprised with this model, it has a very good size bigger than others ive seen, it has some good details on it and it was super easy to put together. i added weathering details to mine and it looks great even added snow on his feet, its even being displayed at my local hobby shop too!

I bought this for my boys (6 yrs and 4 yrs) knowing that it was a model. We explained to them that it is very delicate, and fortunately it has turned out to be a great toy as well. They know that they have to be gentle with it, and every know and then a piece may fall off, but it can be easily reassembled. Dad had to build (took 15 min) with lots of kids help, so also fun in the process.

I see a lot of people complaining that "this is not a toy". If you read the description and looked at the picture, it is CLEARLY not a toy. This is a model, and like any other model, comes in pieces. Its just a a Gundam. Make sure you know this before purchasing and don't pay any attention to the low reviews.

This is not a toy to be played with, it is a model, just keep that in mind if you're shopping for children. On the other hand, I bought this for my husband who loved putting it together and now displays it.

Of all the gifts my husband got on Father's day, this one was his favorite. Is in a special place right now.

The item was received missing pieces to assemble it. It has been returned and I will not buy another item like this.

This At-At Walker looks like a lot of fun. I don't have it yet, but from the stuff I read about it, it looks awesome. I am saving up for it. I now presently have $13.00. I get $3.00 in allowance every Saturday-so in about 2-3 weeks, It will probably come. I really like the At-At Walker from the movie, and this is almost an exact replica. As I said before, I don't have it yet, but I will in 2-3 weeks.
