This review is from: Star Wars Attack of the Clone Taun We Kamino Cloner Action Figure (Toy)
One of the more interesting species to be introduced in Star Wars lore. The Kaminoan Cloner Taun We is both elegant in appearance and subconsciously creepy. It's "grey-like" alien face reminds one of those nasty little aliens that abduct people and perform experiments on them, which may be intentional since these beings have experimented and developed advanced cloning technics to mass produce Chancellor Palpatine's Clone Armies. The figure is beautifully sculpted and finely detailed. The figure's slender body and arms are thin like the Pit-Droid figures from Episode I. The cloning container accessory is a neat addition but the figure can't really carry it in his hands, alas there is nothing inside of the container either. I guess parental activists would object to something like a cloned embryonic fetus or something one would expect from an episode of X-Files rather than Star Wars. Taun We (Kaminoan Cloner) is figure # 25 in Collection 2 from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

4.0 out of 5 stars Taun We, July 4, 2002

in the movie, Taun We is one of my favorite characters. The problem with the figure is that one leg is longer than the other. this may onnly apply to mine, but it is almost impossible to stand up with this defect. It could be a little taller, but it is pretty well scaled. It is fun to move around her long arms and it is very detailed and looks just like the character. the "clone chamber" is pointless, it doesn't do anything and its not very cool looking. I would still buy this figure if your willing to deal with these defects.

This Taun We figure has to be the best sculpted and scaled figure out of all the AOTC figures!! Not a very strong character in the movie, although she is a very elegant species and pleasing to the eye and kinda creepy lookin' at the same time. You can't pose her at all, except with the arms, but did you ever see her do anything but walk around and stand in the movie? She also come with a cloning chamber tube thing that just sits there. Couldn't they have come up with something to put in the jar, like a strand of Jango's DNA or something? Anyway, one of the best scaled figures I own too, as she towers over every single figure I own, even Dooku. I have only seen Taun We once in stores, and that's when I got it. This is a very difficult figure to find, so if you stumble upon it, don't pass up the opportunity of obtaining such a great figure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taun We, March 2, 2003

This review is from: Star Wars Attack of the Clone Taun We Kamino Cloner Action Figure (Toy)
This is a great toy. I know one of you guys said that one of her legs is longer than the other; this is NOT true. Taun We's legs are fine and can move back and forth. She is very detailed and painted in colors that are pleasing to the eye. Taun We is very durable, and her arms are very (and I mean VERY) flexible: you can bend them in any direction and they won't break. However, I will admit that her "clone chamber" is useless; it has nothing in it, and there is nothing you can do with it except use it as a prop. Overall, though, this toy is wonderful in every other way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool Kamino Cloner, September 2, 2002

This review is from: Star Wars Attack of the Clone Taun We Kamino Cloner Action Figure (Toy)
The Kamino race was my favorite new alien in Attack of the Clones so when I saw this figure I bought it right away. Taun We is a beautifully sculpted and detailed figure, featuring a textured skirt, careful painting and even jewlery. However, only her arms and legs are articulated and her legs barely move due to her confining skirt. Which means she's beautiful to look at, but you can't do much with her. Still, I love the design so much that her lack of features and pointless bonus item (she can't hold, carry or use the empty clone chamber) can't dim my enjoyment of her. I was a bit worried that she wouldn't be able to stand freely on her skinny legs, but her skirt is long enough to keeps her upright. If you collect beautifully crafted characters or like the charater as much as I do then she is a must buy, if not you won't be missing anything.
