An Almost Perfect Figure,

This review is from: Star Wars E3 BF15 GENERAL GRIEVOUS (Toy)
This is a pretty solid rendition of the General Grievous. He is very well-sculpted and has good articulation, including knees. His four arms can spread out to increase his range of mayhem. He has an action feature where you can press down on his head and make the right and left arm pairs swing up and down. Though it may seem stupidly simple, it is actully a lot of fun to play around with! The one drawback to the figure is that there is no elbow articulation. Because of this, I gave the figure four stars instead of five. The lack of elbow joints limits movement of the arms and makes their positioning a little messy. In certain arm positions, his lightsabers start crossing onto each other and he will also hit himself on the head with them when using the action feature. The figure would have been 100% perfect if he had come with elbow joints. There is a Deluxe version of Grievous that does have them, but his rear arms cannot spread out at the shoulders. Oh well, I guess you can't have it all! Other than that, this is still a very fun General Grievous figure especially with the action feature. Overall I definitely recommend this figure.

This review is from: Star Wars E3 BF15 GENERAL GRIEVOUS (Toy)
General Grievous is the leader of Count Dooku's Seperatist Army, and was personally trained by Dooku in the art of lightsaber combat. Marketing wise, Grievous made his debut in the Cartoon Network Clone Wars series, and fills the role of uber-cool disposable villain that was previously held by Darth Maul and Jango Fett. Definitely a stunning character design, every collector, parent, and scalper is going to be after this guy. Grab him if you see him, you'll definitely want to add him to your Star Wars collection.
Grievous comes with a very good paint job, and a nice lightsaber slashing attack that, as others have mentioned, is fun without hurting the figure's overall posability. However, I do have a nitpick in that Grievous isn't quite as dynamic and posable as one would expect him to be. He looks great in the packaging, but once you take him out he's kinda stiff. In the Clone Wars cartoon he was jumping and flipping and doing all kinds of weird tricks with his body, which you really can't do here. The joints in his arms are a bendable rubber and not real articulation, which is slightly disappointing. Still, overall Grievous is an authentic toy with a very good sculpt, and after the movie opens demand for this guy will probably skyrocket. Purchase on sight.

General Grievous is a very cool figure. He has 11 points of articulation and has a very cool lightsaber attack that unlike previous "attack action" figures ACTUALLY WORKS and does not impeade the articulation of the figure. GG is very detailed and is a must have for any Star Wars lover.
Oh, and MAF "MAF", Lucus does not make the toys. Hasbro does and makes them well made thank you. Buy the toy before you make a statement about it.
