5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best Emperor figure so far.
This has to be THE BEST Emperor Palpatine figure EVER. He has ten points of articulation and is very posable. He comes with two lighting projectiles one that can be fired out of his robe and another that is so far totally useless. Emperor Palpatine also comes with a very durable(for once, NOT like the jedi lightsabers) red lightsaber that fits snug in his hand. The most...

1.0 out of 5 stars Like a vaccum it keeps sucking and sucking
This is one of the worst toys I ever had! When I first bought it I was excited. I played with it five minutes after I bought it and his left arm broke!!! I had to go to the toy store again and buy the same stupid guy. Now I'm afraid of playing with him because i don't want him to break.

He comes with two lighting projectiles one that can be fired out of his robe and another that is so far totally useless. Emperor Palpatine also comes with a very durable(for once, NOT like the jedi lightsabers) red lightsaber that fits snug in his hand. The most amazing part of this figure though is his head. His head is AMAZING, it is VERY descriptive and looks exactly like his face in ROTJ, PURE EVIL. The hood is removable so you can have a 360 degree view of his face. I recommend this figure for any Star Wars fan.

Yet another fine figure added to the Palpatine collection, thanks to Revenge of the Sith. Up until now, we've had some fairly mediocre Palpatine figures, but ROTS brings us many new figures to choose from. This particular one brings us Emperor Palpatine, fully revealed to the world.

This particular version of Palps has a removable hood, so you can see him in his darkside-tainted glory. The robes are done fairly well. Think of it as an updated version of the classic POTF, sans the cane. Instead, we now get a (BLECH) lightsaber, which I am still against. I do not like the idea of Palpatine taking up a lightsaber in ROTS, as I always respected him as the ultimate villain, not needing to get his hands dirty in the process.

Regardless, this is one of the better Palpatine figures there has been, and you can do no wrong buying this, especially if you're a Palpatine fan like myself.

He is a bald creepy little figure which many will find to look "unatural!". He comes with two lighting pieces, a lightsaber, and a removeable hood. He isn't the most rare figure in the Episode III lot, but get him for he may sell out soon. His face has perfect likeness.

I just bought this toy today and it was the last one at Target. If your are looking for a good figure of Revenge Of THe Sith this is a good choice. It looks alot like the Emperor. It comes with 2 lightning things that fire and spin. Its real fun to play with. You can also remove his hood to see his face. I think this is gonna be a rare Revenge Of The Sith figure so buy it quick. Dont hesitae its real cool!

We looked at every store for the emperor and couldn't find it at xmas time, so when I finally found it online it was great. My 4-year-old son had been looking for it for his collection for a while! He needed to have "bad guys" to fight with. This was a bday present and went over very well. He liked the lightening.

Nice addition to my son's Star Wars collection. Was hard to find this toy, that didn't bare an outrageous price tag, since it is not in stores any longer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Post Arrest Attempt Palpatine., December 9, 2009

The only complaint I have is that the feet are not meant to move beyond shifting the angle of their position, this Emperor is not going to do a running pose. The nice features are a launching and pose force lightning in two different pieces. The firing lightning does not have a lock, in short it is spring and hand pulling power that get your distance on it. The detail of the figure is excellent, post arrest attempt for film context. The lightsaber is true to the film and the blade unlike earlier figures is firmly part of the handle so no loosing the blade! Hood is removable while the whole robe is plastic it still creates an excellent effect for any collection.

...he doesn't fully deserve them. He almost does. The articulation is good . It is durable enough for play(even if you play hard)and you can shoot Yoda with a sith lightning projectile. It looks very movielike. So why didn't i give 5 stars? 1)because the non projectile sith lightning isn't big enough 2)because i lost the friggin' lightsaber 3) because the top of head looks like a shrivled freaky butt! Just constantly keep his hood on.

I think this toy is very cool! It has a blaster and a blue piece that you can put into his arm and make it spin around. You can take his hood on and off and his head moves up and down and the firing missile is awesome--you put it in and fire away! I think this is a very good toy for both younger and older kids! I think this is an all around pretty cool toy!
