My son asked me to tell other kids considering these toys the following

The good thing about it is that the sabers go all the way back into the hilt. They have hooks to hang them on your pants or belt. They DO NOT light up or make noise. No batteries are needed. They are a good price for two sabers.

Star Wars has been around for ages. And we purchased our first sabers several years ago. I have something to compare these to.

The biggest con is how well they are made. They are NOT made poorly, mind you -- but because of the design of the trigger (to release the glowing part) it takes a bit of pressure. An amount that my 4 year old can't handle.

However, once the sabers are extended, they sure deliver. My boys surely enjoy playing with them. They have even put on their Halloween costumes for play

It is nice to have 2 different light sabers for my kids to play with. And I purchased these at a discount, so it made it all the better.

Saw these on Amazon, and got them b/c there were two, so my nephew could use them when friends came over. When he opened them, he was very excited about them. Just realize that they do NOT light up or make any sounds. I've bought something like these in the past for my own children, and they always lit up. I just assumed these did the same. While they are cool to play with, it was disappointing that they didn't light up. I would read the detail more clearly next time around.

The light sabers don't light up or extend automatically, but the kids love them. If you can get them for 6 dollars each, then worth the buy. Recommend for ages 3 to 8.

This was a great opportunity to get my friend, who is really into Star Wars, to have a fun and memorable toy.

These are very fun for my 2 boys. But the DO NOT light up.

I bought these for my four year old son after he went nuts for the clone wars. I got both of these for less than $10 and I see the are over $30 now. For the money I paid they are great. I actually like the fact that they don't require batteries. Plus they take a beating. Sometimes when the little guy attacks I am actually defending myself. That's what I get for joining the dark side. But I just can't get over what a deal they were. Walmart sells these individually for $9 a piece. Really, you need to have two to have any fun. Yoda's release button is a tad stiff but my son doesn't have too much trouble. They both have great little clips to attach to your belt. The saber retracts all the way into the handle. You get to make your own clashing noises with your own voice!

I thought these light sabres would be better than they are. There are 2 kinds you can buy, one actually lights up. These aren't it.

I bought this for my nephew because someone took the one he had. I was disappointed to find out it doesn't light up.
