Our son was Captain Rex for Halloween and loved this helmet. He loves the Clone Wars TV show. The lighted antennae and voice changer are really cool. The headband adjusts easily and it fits our 6 yr old really well. Seems like high quality to us! Highly recommend!

My 8 yr old grandson worked to buy this helmet. He appreciated that the price of helmet came down to $15 less than it cost in stores like K-Mart etc. Helmet is made of durable plastic...fit is a little tough to line everything up as one assembles it. But solid...though it is a big helmet for real young kids.

Overall grandson is glad he got it. And the voice options on helmet are OK with him. Educational value is my subjective view. My grandson who loves everything Star Wars would surely rate it as 5 stars!

He yelled and screem when he open this gift. I have not had a human kid walking around my house in 3 weeks now. He loves the fact that it talks and make sounds. Nice gift.. My 5 and 7 year old loves this product.. Realy, Ask yourself, who does not like Star Wars? Think back and aske yourself, Did I want a Helmet back when I was 5, 7, 10 years old? My 6 year old wanted this for Christmas REALLY bad. I thought it would be PERFECT gift because my son loves Captain Rex from the Clone Wars and loves to dress up as a clone but didn't like the masks. This helmet seemed to be the answer to the problem. Unfortunately, while I think the manufacturers tried to make it wearable, it's just not. Even with the head straps on the inside of the helmet that allow you to adjust the width AND height, it just is too bulky and wobbly on his head. Whenever he tries to run with it, he has to hold it with one hand. Also, it comes apart easily and it takes an adult to get it back together. He still wants to keep it though, and it has become a decoration on top of his dresser and something he loves to show to his friends but that is it. The reason I ranked it 1 star was just because it never gets played with. Great concept, but needs to be made better.

My son absolutely loves this helmet!!! The problem with shopping on-line is you don't always realize how large things are. I bought this for my 4 year old and he LOVES it but it's huge on him. He looks like a bobble head! :) He still has a blast with it and really likes the voice changer feature!

I'm surprised more people didn't have trouble making this thing fit. We spent a VERY frustrating half hour with our 6 yr old trying to adjust it, and the top strap would come loose every time we finally got it right. I finally stuffed a bunch of bubble wrap in the top of the helmet. Problem solved. He does look like a bobble head, but it fits fine, he isn't using his hands to hold it on or adjust it at all. BUT, he still can't use the microphone - his mouth is nowhere near it. He seems to love the stupid thing, though, he's wearing it right now playing a video game.

This helmet seems to be very durable. The kids play with it for hours. The only problems with it is that it is hard to put together. Also, it is very large for my 8 year old's head. He has to lift it up to talk into it.

My three year old got this helmet for Christmas. His cousins had one and whenever he was over there he would always get it out. He played with it quite a bit, and had it in his bed on several nights (provided no buttons were pushed). It is very durable, having been droppped several times and usually held by the antenna/eyesight arm. There are three buttons on the helmet. One has a speaker inside that relays Yoda's incoming communications, One is external with Cpt. Rex talking, and the third provides a hiss while amplifying an internal microphone. It is a pretty well thought out toy and always a kid to really explore role play. I definitely recommend this for those little star wars fans in your house.

My 5 year old son was very excited about this gift. However, the helmet is very large and clumsy and doesn't fit on anyones head properly. The voice changer is just a microphone. Not very impressive once you get it out of the box.

Got this as part of an offer with a blaster rifle (which is awesome, btw). It's for our 4 year-old so the fit isn't quite right. I laughed when I saw one reviewer refer to their 4 year-old as a bobble-head in it because that's exactly what I've been calling my kid. The reasons I'm dinging this toy down to a 2-star is because the microphone is really hard to use, just doesn't line-up nearly close enough to the mouth to make it work (we've tried this with a wide range of head sizes in our house), and it just comes apart too easily. It's a bit of a challenge to get all the snaps lined up in the first place, and then when it comes apart so easily it can be a little frustrating. If you hold it a little too tight on the wrong part it will pop open. If you dont set it down pretty soft, even just a little bit of a drop, it pops right open. I don't get why they didn't make it stick together much stronger since once you assemble it you're not ever going to have a need to take it apart anyway. And yeah, it does take assembly. It can be a little bit of a challenge but not too big a deal, maybe take you 5 minutes. I'm going to use some gorilla glue or something to try to keep this together. My little bobble head does like to play with this still, even though the microphone part isn't too useful, and as long as it stays together. This would be a good toy for 15, maybe 20 bucks, but I wouldn't recommend it beyond that price range, and definitely not for the currently listed 38.
