This sleek red space fighter from the dumb Clone Wars cartoon must've been designed by somebody who has young kids. Unlike every other ship for the Star Wars figures currently available, this one doesn't have a bunch of little parts that fall off immediately, and doesn't require a surgeon to spend a few hours carefully applying the sheet of little stickers.

Great ship and an immediate favorite. Ready to go right out of the box, and really only the dangerous put-an-eye-out "laser cannons" need to go in the "when you're older" box. Oh yeah and it really holds an R-whatever droid, you just need to pop that little hood up and put the robot under that, where it stays securely.

Got this for my 3 1/2 year old boy. It's really great. A lot of detail - A lot of working parts. (he's a tinkerer).
He can get the two pieces apart - once they loosened up just a bit. The cockpit was VERY hard to open. We filed down the snap-in piece to make it easier and it's fine now.

My 3 & 5 year old sons are having tons of fun with this. They like how it splits into two ships, and I like the fact that the vehicle doesn't seem to have any small, easy to break off parts.
