Okay, I bought this figure the same time I bought the new Darth Vader with removable helmet. First thing is, I really do like it, but it could have been more detailed like the Jedi Knight Luke figure in the 30th anniversary series. I bought it anyway and decided to overlook that and the fact that he comes with some type of goggles and a head cloth thing. I saw all that and I still bought it so I have no reason to complain. It goes well with Vader and I am happy I have it in my collection.

When I was a kid and Star Wars first came out there was only "one" type of Luke Skywalker. You had to use your imagination if you wanted to envision him somewhere else or in a different outfit. Eventually they made different versions of all the characters so you could collect any type of character in different attires. So holds true today with Hasbro's Star Wars: The Legacy Collection Sandstorm Luke Skywalker Action Figure. This set comes with Luke Skywalker in Sandstorm attire with a Droid Factory part (There were different parts with each action figure so you could assemble your own Droid Robot.). The action figure is well detailed and durable as action figures go. It was a great addition.

I know this, as well as the Han Solo and Chewbaca from this series were sculpted from a deleted story line in ROJ, but it really looks more like an aged later expanded universe Luke. Its solidly built, has great detail and is one of the best sculpted jedi lukes I own. It can also take a beating from my 6 year old nephew.

This isn't the greatest Luke figure, but it's still awesome to get a figure from this deleted scenes. It's not a bad figure, but the articulation is a bit off. The knees don't lock. The accessories fit really well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend getting this figure in honor of the blu-ray release.

I bought this item for my son and he loves it.He is a HUGE!!! fan of star wars.he is a big fan of the original trilogy his favorite one is return of the jedi.This is his favorite star wars figure.Educational wise it isn't but makes up for it with the great detal on it.
