Who will ever forget the first time they saw Darth Vader. Having grown up in the 70's as a child, Star Wars was the ultimate movie experience, and Vader was the ultimate villain. I was lucky enough to pre-order this book and receive the slipcased version of this hardcover masterpiece!!!

Once you get a hand on this book its almost impossible to put it down... the pictures that illustrate the souns are fantastic and the binding for such a large book is impressive!!! If you love Star Wars, you will love this book!

This hardcover book is full of interesting facts and information on this hated enemy of the Rebel alliance. This is a must have collectable and rare find of a book!!! If you can afford a copy, snag one of these! You won't regret it!!!!

The Complete Vader is a great read for any Star Wars fan. Authors Ryder Windham and Pete Vilmur did a great job of keeping the book fun to read and avoiding a dry historical account. The book has lots of fun facts about Vader and Star Wars. Yet there is a lot more to the book than the story when you take into account the tons of beautiful artwork and photos that are included. From Ralph McQuarrie prints and sketches, to behind-the-scenes pictures of the actors and Vader promotional shoots, there is a lot to enjoy. For collectors, a lot of Vader merchandise is also covered. On top of it all, there's also a lot of fun interactive elements such as fold out pictures, hidden pockets with loose articles, and even copies of film cells. Definitely a book that's worth the money.

My husband is a huge Star Wars fan, and I go this for him as a present. He LOVED it! It really has some great information about the character of Darth Vader, the toys that were made, some copies of original script, and tons more. A great purchase for a Star Wars/ Darth Vader fan of any age.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He has been a Star Wars fan forever. From his reaction I know it will be a treasure.

The photographs in this book are beautifully done and plentiful throughout. Great material based on in-depth research and covering a wide range of subject material.

Got this book this morning for Christmas. It's really fantastic! Not your normal book either. Has lots of extras and inserts. The images are top notch! Highly recommend for any fanboy!

when i saw this book on here, my jaw dropped and i had to have it. waited by the door and it finally came. it is a big book, nice hardcover with vader from front to back. just amazing pictures and details of how vader was born and up til today. the concept photos and background of how he began is amazing. totally changes your outlook on star wars as a whole. plus amazing extras such as hand written script of luke i am your father scene, pop out posters, just too many extras to write down. if you love star wars and the dark lord then you must have this. who cares what the price is, just click order and wait by the door til it comes. thank you for your time and may the force be with you.......

As far as fun books go about Star Wars, count this as one. Though the price is not cheap, there are myriad details, inserts, unfolding pages and pictures that add a lot of flavor to this book on Darth Vader. The book goes into some substantial detail about the popular cultural reception of Darth Vader, the vast amount of Vader-inspire products, toys, serials, and toys. It is a large coffee-table book, that should be good for a great deal of fun and reflection.

I opened this book and was blown away. There's so many amazing images about everyone's favorite Sith, as well as removable treasures! It was a complete surprise to me. The only downside I had was a few of the high gloss photo insert pages lightly sticking to the other pages, but they separated without damage. I recommend this to any Star Wars fan, especially fellow loyal Sithly followers!!
