4.0 out of 5 stars For what it is, it is fun.
I received this pen as a gift from a friend. It amuses me greatly here at work. I can take the lego pieces off and on and make it stack how ever it amuses me. The cape on Darth Vader is starting to fray a little bit and I have only had the pen about 3 days, but oh well. If you want a superior writing utensil, buy a different pen. If you want a quirky pen that is fun...

2.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating instead of Fun
I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my six year old son, a big Star Wars fan. Unfortunately, we found it very difficult to change the Lego pieces. The bottom of the pen unscrews or the head of Darth Vader comes off every time we try to change them. Great idea but poorly executed. I wouldn't buy this item again.

The little tyke that received this item was very happy with it. He seems to enjoy taking it apart and rebuilding it. If he is happy, then we are happy.

If you want a quirky pen that is fun in meetings and makes you smile, this is the one. It's a bit difficult for kids to change out the parts though.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointing lego product, July 27, 2011

Bought this pen because it looked like it came with a darth vader mini fig. But the product is cheap & it is not the same kind of toy that you find in lego sets. I'm disappointed in Lego for making such a cheap product that looks so similar to the good legos. If you are looking for a fun novelty pen, this is probably fine. But if you're looking for a fun toy for a kid who loves mini-figs, I'd skip it.
