This review may be a few years too late, but felt this book and the artist deserved a fairer and longer review than the ones here. Dave Dorman is one of a few artists creating his visions of the Star Wars universe for the covers of Star Wars Paperbacks, comics, magazines and CD covers. And it is stunning.

Many of the prints of the covers are sought after with print runs finished. It is excellent value and wonderful to be able to have them all in one book, without title type and foil packaging ruining the artwork.

Not only do you get the published covers in one convenient place, but also unpublished works you won't get elsewhere, variations of works to meet briefs, and better yet, sketches and the work process of the artist, always important in this sort of book.

Bottom line, it's a terrific book for fans of comic book cover art, and if you're a combination art and star wars fan a must buy!

I was quite surprised with the prize when I bought it, but I take it all back... It is a wonderful book. I really admire Dave Dorman's talent. I really hope to see more of his art
