Now, this is the first action figure in my senate collection. It's really quite interesting. I like the design of the clothing. It reminds me of the Original Trilogy. I've been a fan as long as I can remember, but this must be one of the greatest in my collection. He may not be able to hold his gun right, but it's worth it. If you're ready to start off your senator collection, Bail Organa is the one start with. Then go for Mon Mothma, then Meena Tills, then...

Bail Organa is a pretty cool action figure. He is detailed well, and has a cool cloak thingy. He is made of plastic. He comes with a phasor pistor that can go in a holster on his belt. His cloak thingy keeps his right hand from being abel to point straight, thus he can only shoot his phasor at the ground. His head can be riped off, and switched with other charactors. I like switching his head with Mas Ameada. so if you are considering buying bail Organa, you should buy Mas Ameada too. Man Ameada is also made of plastic. The holster for his phasor is proportunatly too large for his body, so I think that they shouldn't have included it with the figure. when you take off his cloak thingy he looks kind of like an imperal officer. To remove his cloak, you first have to rip off his head. It is also very educational, because it can teach you all of the ways that you can move your joints, and how to hold a phasor. Also his package can teach you a little bit about Star Wars. If you want to waste your money the Bail Organa action figure is one of the best things to waste your money on.

This toy is a great figure. It looks exactly like the character in the latest Star Wars title,Revenge Of The Sith. Bail Organa can be a great addition to anybodys collection. This Senator toy from Hasbro has to be one only one of the best. The hand-gun that comes with him is greatly detailed and well structured. His cloak is not removable thats the only disadvantage he has, he can't hold his hand-gun quite right that way. The figure is so fantastic. Even though he isn't a Jedi or Bounty Hunter coming with fantastic weapons he is still a good character.

I like this figure and it's cool to recreate the scenes in "Revenge" but I wish I could take off the cloak so he can hold his gun right.

In a few short scenes in ATTACK OF THE CLONES, the audience is given some glimpses of Bail Organa, Senator from Alderaan. Besides the irrelevant matter that the character is played by Jimmy Smitts, the real reason people wanted to see more of him in REVENGE OF THE SITH is because Bail Organa is Princess Leia's adopted father. Besides seeming to have a relationship with Yoda & Mace Windu and being the Senator from Alderaan, people want to know how did Bail come to adopt Leia. Many of the questions are answered in REVENGE OF THE SITH and this action figure makes a nice addition to any Star Wars collection. Besides the fact that his arms are permanently bent slightly at the elbows, the Bail Organa figure is more along the style of the original STAR WARS action figures of the 1970s and 1980s. The character is fun to play with and in some ways seems to resemble a relationship to Han Solo. In fact, if you have a Han Solo figure, this figure is great to use as an old smuggling buddy of Han's. The figure includes a hand phaser and a nifty little platform stand.

Senator Bail Organa was the First Chairman and Viceroy of Alderaan, a hero of the Clone Wars, and the head of the Royal Family of Alderaan. An influential politician, he was a loyal Senator who commanded the ear of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine himself.A member of the Loyalist Committee, Bail Organa was deeply concerned with the stability of the Republic during the Separatist crisis. He realized that drastic measures were required if the Separatists continued to push the galaxy to the brink of war. While he recognized the need for the Senate to take ownership of the newly discovered Kamino clone army, he knew it was a political impossibility. Though it was not his recommendation, he stood by and watched as Palpatine was granted emergency powers to save the Republic from this dire threat. It was with great dismay that he watched the Republic transform during the war years. The Senate willingly relinquished more executive powers to Chancellor Palpatine, all in the name of increased security. To criticize such actions would result in being branded a traitor, so Bail was careful to conceal his misgivings. He spoke of them only in a small audience of like-minded Senators. During the Clone Wars, Organa befriended General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the revered Jedi Knight served him well in that terrible conflict. When Kenobi's apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, succumbed to the dark side, Organa hid one of Skywalker's twin offspring in the high court of Alderaan. Bail and his wife had been looking to adopt a child, and he came to raise and love young Leia Organa as his own child Leia followed in Bail's political footsteps, becoming the youngest member of the Imperial Senate. Leia also decided to support the Alliance, using her diplomatic immunity to smuggle supplies and information to Rebels. Together, the Organas uncovered crucial technical information about the Empire's greatest weapon, the Death Star. Bail sent Leia on a mission to locate Obi-Wan Kenobi and recruit him into the Alliance to help face the Death Star challenge. Leia failed, and her mission was eventually picked up by Luke Skywalker. Bail Organa was killed when the Death Star destroyed Alderaan. |
