These Photo comics are great. They are the truest form of story telling in this format and for these epic movies, I wish they had doubled or even tripled the size to add more images, not necessarily to make the book bigger, but to make it thicker.
A must for any Star Wars fan!

Got this book for my daughter, who loves seeing pictures from the movies she loves.
However, I found the colours really off on some pages -- hues were either too green or blue: i'm guessing some of the background colour washes were unfavourably tinting the colour of the photos in the foreground. Luke's skin was matching Yoda for greenness on a couple of pages... This seems to be the case with all of the Photo Comic books from this publisher. Also, the storyline and script were slightly adjusted for the sake of keeping things within X number of pages. Not a big deal, but a couple of plot events were actually wrong - especially in the photo comic book for Episode III. In any case, this all about saturating Star Wars fans with more good memoribilia, so on that front, it was great. |
