5.0 out of 5 stars Can you pass the Jedi trials?, June 4, 2005
This review is from: Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Trivia Quest (Paperback)
The Revenge of the Sith "Trivia Quest" book will challenge what the young Jedi knows about the final Star Wars story. The questions and creative tests of knowledge are surprisingly difficult and detailed. This activity book is not intended for those who saw the movie once and therefore believe that they know all that there is about the story. A sample question is as follows: What is the name of the language that Wookies speak? a. Shyriiwook, b. Shuriiwooke, c. Shalliwood or d. Shorrellwook. If you didn't know the correct response off the top of your head, you may want to do your homework before attempting this Jedi trial. There are four versions out there, each featuring a different holographic cover that changes depending on the angle viewed. The Darth Vader image featured on Amazon changes from Anakin. Whether you're a Star Wars enthusiast who's 9 or 900, "Trivia Quest" is a quick and fun tool to test your knowledge of "Revenge of the Sith."

3.0 out of 5 stars Calling all Padawans!, January 26, 2009
This review is from: Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Trivia Quest (Paperback)
Star Wars, Episode III-Revenge of the Sith Trivia Quest is a niche, but interesting compliment to the film. It's a fun way for Star Wars fans to test their knowledge of the films, in particular, Episode 3. As a long time die-hard fan of Star Wars, I was looking forward to this book. However, I am forced to admit that I would have enjoyed this book much more if I were several years younger.

Though the trivia questions are fun and sometimes challenging, not to mention it boasts some excellent black and white scenes from the movie, this book is overly simplistic and lacks the depth and appeal of an activity book. In addition to the trivia questions, I would like to have seen some crossword puzzles, mazes, pop-up pages, pull and peel stickers, cut and paste illustrations, etc.

Star Wars, Episode III-Revenge of the Sith Trivia Quest is too short to truly be enjoyed and doesn't do enough to hold my attention. In fact, once a person attempts to answer the questions, it's unlikely that he or she will ever revisit this book. There just isn't anything here to warrant a second go. Worse, it isn't challenging enough for older Star Wars fans.

I would recommend this book to young Padawans out there who love Star Wars and would like to test their Jedi-in-training knowledge. But since it's just a mediocre novelty with a limited release, I don't think anyone should sell the farm to land a copy of this book either.
