5.0 out of 5 stars Good Toy...GREAT TOY, July 21, 1999
By A Customer
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Star Wars Episode 1 Naboo Starfighter (Toy)
This toy is almost like the starfighter in the movie. Coloring difrences in some areas but that's the big diffrence. It has a nice electronic system that acctulally has green lasers like seen in the movie unlike the red used for all other toys. My favorit feature is the swiveling R2 unit head at the top. The cockpit needs to be a bit bigger, I have trouble fitting in action figures but that's all.

5.0 out of 5 stars The darn best representation of the Naboo fighter yet, December 18, 1999

Wow! this toy is neat! I cannot stop playing with it. It looks almost exactly like the movie and is to scale with the other action figures. The only problem with the toy is that it is so damn beautiful that some like me don't want to play with it. Because it is soo shiny yet made out of plastic it can easily be scratched. Besides that its pretty durabile. the only 2 problems I have with this toy is that there is no way to remove the R2 unit to replace him with R2-D2 or the other soon to be released R2-B1, and the cockpit bubble open ups with a vertical swivel instead of sliding out as seen in the movie. The electronic features are cool too. They should start making Anakin pilot figures since it is not yet available on the main action figure line.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Short Time Ago, In A Toy Store Not So Far Away...., May 19, 2001

OK, hi. I'm am a big Star Wars freak, I have many MANY Star Wars Toys. One toy that made me really happy was the Naboo Starcraft from Episode I. It's yellow, sleek, and not to heavy. It also comes with sounds, such as a hyperspace sound and shooting lasers sound. The "Starcraft" also comes with a hidden missle on the bottem that shoots out. It also comes with the little pilot Anakin Skywalker. He wheres his own space helmet which is really cool. There's nothing really else I can say about this toy. If you really like to buy Star Wars toys, I would say get this one. But if you don't like SW so much then you decide. Hey this is only my opinion so you decide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Too Small!, January 29, 2000
By A Customer
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Star Wars Episode 1 Naboo Starfighter (Toy)
Woah, this toy looks just like the one in the movie! It is fun and very cool. It also makes sounds that sound good. The only problem with it is that it is way too small. Only a few of my Star Wars action figures will fit ( and I have tons of them ). If you really want to get one in then you have to cram it in, even then most of them don't fit. You even have to cram in the Ric Olie! The only one you don't have to squish is Anakin. Really, the only ones that fit are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ric Olie, Anakin, Luke Skywalker, and Ben Kenobi. Very few. But hey it still is cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Space Flight, January 8, 2000

Gave the Naboo Fighter to two boys, age 4 and 4 1/2, for Christmas. They both loved it. You can hold it in your hand as you imagine you are flying through space. They loved the sound effects. The sound buttons are conveniently located for one hand operation while "flying". (Sound effects are just loud enough though not too loud to annoy adults.) They played with it for hours. Neither has seen Star Wars. They just love flying through space. The canopy lifts up to hold one action figure loosely. The single proton torpedo which launches is so small it gets lost immediately. Great Toy even if you loose the torpedo.

We've had the Naboo Fighter for over a year now and it doesn't sit still for very long. My son plays with it several times a week. The parts have held up well, and I've not had to replace the batteries, yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Toy, April 21, 2001
By A Customer
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Star Wars Episode 1 Naboo Starfighter (Toy)
The ship designs of The Phantom Menace are simply gorgeous. The elegance of the Naboo Fighter is startlingly apparent when the ship is held in hand. The curve of the engines balance the slope of the cockpit. The engine and tail resemble spires. It is the perfect shade of yellow. There's so much to see. Not only is this toy gorgeous but it's well built and tons of fun. The toy feels durable and solid. It weighs just enough to give the ship an authentic feel. This ship could easily have become rather nose heavy, but it is instead almost perfectly balanced. The ship's sounds are great. A flyby sound complete with Doppler effect and a laser blast sound accompanied by the illumination of some bright green simulated laser cannons. The sounds are high quality digital recordings and are loud enough to entertain the kids but quiet enough to not annoy the parents. The ship also shoots a spring loaded torpedo and seats one figure in the cockpit. This is where I would perhaps point my only criticism of this toy. The cockpit does not accommodate all Star Wars action figures. While it is perhaps impossible to expect to fit some of the more exotic figures into all ships, it is difficult to even fit the robbed young Obi-Wan figure into the ship. Most of the characters without large rubber clothing seem to fit although some are tight. In a similar vein the R2-D2 is not removable, which would have been a nice touch. All in all a superb product and a steal for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very durable and beautiful toy!, March 22, 2001

The Electronic Naboo Starfighter is a durable, beautiful and cool toy. It hardly gets damaged. It is a very good looking toy that has real laser cannon lights and movie sounds. It has a missile that can shoot a few feet. When you play with it, it can make you imagine that you really are in space, fighting for Naboo. You can make all kinds of maneuvers with it. Although the R2-D2 can't be taken out and there is no pilot, it really doesn't matter because you're the pilot and you're in control of a cool electronic starfighter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maybe we just got a bad one...., August 23, 2001

Upon reading the other reviews, I think we must have gotten a slightly flawed toy. The ship is sleek and looks great, and my son loves it, but our cockpit lid fell off about 2 days after we got it. I put it back on but it just falls off again. My son, who is slightly too young to really compare his toy to the one in the movie, doesn't care at all about the missing cockpit lid. We also accidently stepped on the pointy tail and bent it, and we can't straighten it out again. Once again, my son doesn't care, and he still plays with this toy a lot.

the nabbo starfighter is a great toy. My brother who is only 3 loves it. He likes to cram the power of the jedi obi-wan kenobi into it and fly it everywhere. He always shoots the missle, and it hasn't gotten lost yet. It is also very durable because he crashes it all the time
