Though this is a book for young children, at the age of 30, I found, after seeing the movie, it helped me to understand the characters, planets, weaponry, and so much more. Do you know what determines the color of a light saber? Or how a Jedi is determined and at what age they start training? That and so many other answers are given in this book, it's packed full of great photo's and even gives a little lesson on the people who brought the film to being. Highly recommended!

When I got this book, It was totally AWESOME! there are a lot of pics and COOL stuff that you couldn't of had guessed...I mean is was "THE BEST" I couldn't stop reading it...it's REALLy good...trust me!

I first read this about two weeks ago(well, it's not exactly the type you read cover to cover, you know) and I'm still looking over it. This is the type of book any Episode 1 freak (like me) would die for.This shows pretty much everything, from a 10-page overview of the Jedi (weapons, council, etc.), to the Creatures of the Core. It shows the inside of a lightsaber, and all you need to know about the beautiful queen Amidala (Natalie Portman's a goddess). If you're looking for a book about Episode 1 that you can look at for months, this is definitely the book for you.

Just got this last night and think it's a good book. It's bound more like a magazine than a book. The first two pages are removeable "data cards" of Obi Wan, Queen Amidala, etc.

But inside, the scrapbook describes Jedi, Gungans, and everything else that's new in this movie. There are interesting tidbits about everything. The photos are colorful and quality, and the book's layout is jazzy and eye-catching.

this is the best book you can look at to see all the details put into episode 1! there are pictures, quotes, and much info about each character! it truly is a good buy!

I just bought this book and I just can't get over how amazing it is. I learned who played Darth Maul finally and I found out a lot of things about the movie I really didn't noticed when I watched it.

OK, you don't want spoilers, you don't get spoilers. This book is truly superb, yet it doesn't manage to spoil the plot, whilst giving detailed descriptions of ships, characters, even whole worlds!!!

This book is really great. I learned a lot of stuff I didn't know before! For example, it explained more about the Jedi council and other characters.

This is good book that briefly describes the events of Episode I in a picture format perfect for young and non-readers

My best friend bought me this book before I saw the movie with her on the first day, and may I just say, this is a MUST! Filled with interesting information, it will give you a lot more background about the plot.
