This review is from: Star Wars: Episode 1 Qui-Gon Jinn (Jedi Duel) Action Figure (Toy)
Brings out a childs imagination, a durable little toy, what more could a child or parent want in a toy? Imagination is an important tool in a child's development. This little Qui-Gon Jinn figure is hours of fun. As a mother of a three year old son who is a Star Wars fanatic, and a Star Wars fan myself, we have many of the Star Wars toys in the house. Qui-Gon Jinn basic figure is amongst the heap, as well as the Obi-Wan of course, (we couldn't have one without the other). This toy is not meant to be educational; it is just a toy, and that is enough educational value for my son. The imagination is opened and away he goes. My son has had these figures for months now and has not lost the sabres yet. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan even trade lightsabres once in awile, they always go back to their own! These little figures even get to have baths...That's when they are in JarJars territory!!! They are small enough for us to pack around everywhere we go, and I don't even mind carry them around when they get handed to me. I like these figures for not only my sons imagination, but mine as well. We play with them all the time. They are definitly durable; if you seen the battles this little figure has put it through by my son, you would know why I say this! This is a great toy to buy any child who likes to explore their imagination, have fun and enjoys Star Wars (and really how many kids don't?)!!

I think this is one of a very good series of star wars toys! I like the detail on Qui's face! although he's not as flexible as I think he was while he was alive I think this action figure and this series is a very good investment. I noticed that the lightsabers were flimsy

I bought this toy for my nephew for his birthday. He enjoyed it immensely. The lightsaber didn't seem terribly durable, but overall, he loved it.

Overall a good toy. However, the forearms come detached very easily-like some of the other figures.

this, along with Ric Olie, was my first figure from Episode I. It's a very good figure. Articulation at the hips, wrists, elbows, shoulders, waist and neck.He comes with a lightsaber and COMMTech chip(granted, the first chips weren't that great)that interacts with Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin with four different sayings.

Boy, this is a great toy for hours of play and imagination. It'll keep from the youngest of children to teens interested for hours, literally, especially if you have another dueler, such as Darth Maul, the widly known assasin in Episode 1. I bet your thinkin', what a nut kid getting all excited about a dumb action figure, well think again. This is a great toy for long trips and boring hours! Any young boy would love this figure. The durability I thought was unbeleivable, (toilet, lawnmower, etc.) and , as well as the light saber, but the problem is the average kid, being one myself, will only have the lightsaber for the first month or so, if you know what I mean. His chip wasn't at all exciting. How exciting can a few words be? So don't buy the figure for the chip, unless your a collector. And obviosly how much education can you get from an action figure? Hello! The thing that bugs me the most about these reviews is people's inability to spell and use proper grammar in their attempt to explain their opinion about these cool toys. Especially the negative ones, (hint hint) I'm a big Star Wars fan and this is a ultimate collectors figure. I don't care what someone says, this toy is a blow away, fun toy for boys.

This toy is great because it is allot of fun. Collect Darth Maul and Obi Won Kenobi and you have a battle scene to create.

hasbro has done a remarkable job of replicating the likenesses of the episode I characters into action figures. i call the phantom menace toys, action figures because they are just about the perfect play thing for recreating the high tech action seen in the movie. as an educational toy the qui gon character embodies all the virtues a parent would want to instill in their own child. with a bit of imagination moms and dads around the world could use this truly positive icon to help children understand what it means to be human.

This figuer has great collectters value but for such a great carecter ( maby my faverit ) they could have done better, and compared to the famed battle droid it seams like a rock. I don't think you could dent this thing with a hammer soooo i think that Hasbro could have done better and the fact that you can hardly move the thing.. ahhhh.. I got it and over all im a litle disaponited but me being a collecter and Qui-Gon being one of my favrit carecters from the move ahhhh give it a shot. Cool thing about it is that he holds his light saber so nicely that it makes a good stand still but for fighting your moveing HIM , not his arm.
